Wolfville, Nova Scotia
Green Energy Exchange Association of Nova Scotia
The Green Energy Exchange Association of Nova Scotia is proud to announce a significant milestone in our journey toward a cleaner, fairer, and more sustainable energy future.
After weeks of dedicated effort and administrative coordination, we are pleased to confirm that as of June 2, 2025, the Green Energy Exchange Association of Nova Scotia is officially registered as a lobbyist organization with the provincial (Nova Scotia) and federal governments (Canada).
- Nova Scotia Lobbyist Registration Number: 505074
- Federal Lobbyist Registration Number: 961006-381339-1
While we received confirmation from the Province of Nova Scotia on June 4, and from the Government of Canada on June 12, both registrations are formally backdated to June 2, 2025 — marking the official date of our recognition.
This dual registration marks a historic moment for our organization. It grants us the legal authority to advocate directly with elected officials and government bodies, championing policies that serve the interests of everyday Nova Scotians and Canadians who care deeply about the future of energy, the environment, and economic equity.
“It is with great pleasure that I, Joshua Eaton, President of the Green Energy Exchange Association of Nova Scotia, announce that we now have the full legal capacity to lobby members of government at both the provincial and federal levels. This is a defining step in our mission to empower communities and protect the public interest in energy policy.”
Our mission is rooted in transparency, sustainability, and the belief that energy policy should serve the public good — not just corporate interests. With this new chapter officially underway, we are excited to begin advocating for bold reforms, smarter investments in renewable infrastructure, and energy affordability for all.
The journey ahead is just beginning — but today, we celebrate a major step forward. Thank you to everyone who has supported us thus far. We invite all Nova Scotians and Canadians to join us as we build a stronger, cleaner energy future together.
